Security is the starting point for the lighting in tunnels: vision of obstacles, compensation of loss of vision at the entry and exit of tunnel, and alertness of the users.
ingélux strives to design best lighting solutions offering optimal visual conditions for security and global comfort for users in the tunnel. Maintenance and energetic consumption are also taken into account with the use of latest technological solutions.
ingélux proposes a process taking into account the luminance in the visual field, dirtiness on the windshield and weather conditions.

New tunnel in Croix-Rousse (Lyon)
The second tunnel of the Croix Rousse is a space dedicated to soft modes of transport: bicycles, pedestrians, skaters, buses.
The objective was to create an atmosphere which is attractive despite the distance into a closed universe.
Tunnel under Fourvière (Lyon)
Numerical simulation of the lighting to be used in the INRETS driving simulator INRETS, 3D movies with simulation of diffuse and specular reflections .
